Francesca is the founder and director of What is Opera, Anyway? inc. a 501(c)3 non-profit organization designed to bring a comprehensive opera education program straight to you-- to your computer screen, to your headphones, and to the classroom.

 

What is Opera, Anyway? was founded in June 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Under Francesca's leadership,  What is Opera, Anyway? has has run two successful after-school programs, three seasons of our podcast, and several workshops for adult learners. In 2023 and beyond, What is Opera, Anyway? has plans to broaden our audience with new virtual and in-person programming for youth and adults.
